Great places to stay on Yorke Peninsula
Yorke Peninsula is the perfect escape at
any time of the year, and has an array of
accommodation to suit everyone.

there are plenty of options to choose from on Yorkes!
The region boasts 30 caravan parks. Caravan parks offer a range
of facilities, sites and cabin accommodation from budget to luxury
... camp kitchens with shiny stainless steel appliances to barbeque
areas, kids playgrounds, equipment hire, games rooms, fish
cleaning stations and much more.
Many parks cater for motorhomes and recreational vehicles with
dump points available throughout the region.
Port Hughes Tourist Park, located in a popular town that offers
safe waters for swimming, boating and aqua sports. Boasting one
of the most scenic beaches on the Yorke Peninsula, Port Hughes is
a terrific family holiday destination.
The Port Hughes Tourist Park is connected to the beach and offers
a myriad of activities for every member of the family – including
a large children’s playground, go karts, jumping pillow, paddle
boarding and kayaking. Even your pet can enjoy a holiday, check
out the pet-friendly options available.
Located on the south-eastern tip of Yorke Peninsula, Edithburgh’s
Caravan Park is the perfect base to explore the beauty of the
peninsula. Overlooking one of the best boat ramps on the peninsula,
it is within close proximity to surf beaches, rugged coast as well as
child safe beaches and a tidal swimming pool.
With accommodation options ranging from unpowered sites to
luxury executive sea-front spa cabins, Edithburgh Caravan Park
has something to suit every budget and taste.
Facilities include a modern amenities block, disabled bathroom,
modern laundry, camp kitchen, free electric BBQ, children’s
playground and basketball court. Wireless internet is available and

The shady and comfortable Ardrossan Caravan Park is one of the
more convenient locations from which to explore this fascinating
area. Just 150km from Adelaide, Ardrossan is centrally-located for
day trips around the peninsula.
Ardrossan Caravan Park is just a short stroll to the beach or the
town jetty, a great spot to drop the crab pots or for fishing. Crab
rakes and tubs are available for hire from the office, and free crab
cookers available for tenants’ use.
The Park offers spacious amenties, including disabled-friendly
facilities. There are two playgrounds within the Park and pet-
friendly options are also available.
Coobowie ‘The Pelican Port on the Yorke’ is becoming increasingly
popular with holiday makers, situated in the heart of a protected
bay, and has one of the safest beaches on the peninsula.
The Coobowie Caravan Park offers accommodation options at very
reasonable rates and is the perfect place to start your discovery
tour of the many sights and great fishing spots the Southern Yorke
Peninsula has to offer. There is disabled access to some units.
For those heading towards the foot of the peninsula, Marion Bay
Caravan Park is located just five minutes’ drive from Innes National
Park. Designed as a bush camp, it offers a wide range of features

To get away from it all you can even rent your own island! Troubridge
Island is just off the coast of Edithburgh and features a lighthouse
